Take a seat in The Legacy Video Lounge.
On January 27, 2016, Family Legacy Video® launched its very own podcast, The Legacy Video Lounge. Hosted by veteran video biographer and Family Legacy Video® president Steve Pender, the podcast focuses the art and science of capturing, preserving, celebrating, and sharing personal history on video. During your visits to the Legacy Video Lounge, you’ll hear Steve share his passion for legacy videos. He’ll also offer tips on hiring and working with professional video biographers, hints for do-it-yourselfers, and much more!
As some readers may remember, Steve posted a sample podcast episode in the September 2015 issue of this newsletter. The response to that sample was overwhelmingly positive, with listeners expressing interest in a Family Legacy Video® podcast. After spending some time learning the mechanics of hosting and posting podcasts, Steve decided to move ahead, with hopes of posting a couple of shows each month.
The podcast is audio only; no video at this point. Why an audio podcast instead of a video podcast? Quite frankly, audio is much easier to produce. Plus, it’ll be more intimate – just Steve’s voice, and possibly the voices of future guests, speaking directly to you. Family Legacy Video® certainly has enough video posted on the company site, so visitors looking for video clips will not be disappointed. Finally, Steve Pender began his media career in radio, so the podcast gives him a chance to get back to his roots.
You’ll find the podcast episodes here. If you like what you hear, you have a number of ways to subscribe: via e-mail, iTunes, and more. And please e-mail Steve with any questions and topics you’d like to see covered in future episodes.
The door to The Legacy Video Lounge is always open. Hope you can pay a visit!
