Join personal historians in Fort Worth!
Note: The Association of Personal Historians has dissolved.
If personal history is your business, or perhaps an idea for a future business, or even if creating family histories in video, audio, and/or print is a hobby, you owe it to yourself to check out the Association of Personal Historians.
The APH is chock full of members who share a passion for helping individuals and families preserve, celebrate and share their life stories with current and future generations. Each year, this passion draws personal historians from around the globe to the annual APH Conference. The conference journies to a different city each year, with this year’s event landing in “the city of cowboys and culture” – Fort Worth, Texas, from October 23-27.
APH conferences offer wonderful opportunities for networking, renewing old friendships and kindling new ones, and checking out the work of fellow personal historians. You’ll also find an array of workshops offering information and inspiration. Among this year’s workshop presenters is Family Legacy Video president and APH board member Steve Pender. Steve will be sharing his video biography expertise in two workshops, If Ken Burns Can Do It: Video Storytelling Techniques, and Today’s Speaker Is… Public Speaking for Video Biographers.
So if personal history is your thing, consider a membership in the Association of Personal Historians – and come meet other like-minded folks this October at the annual APH Conference is Fort Worth!

Last call for Family Legacy Video’s classic DIY products.
Only two copies of the Family Legacy Video® Producer’s Guide on CD remain in stock – and September 9 is the last day they’ll be on sale (unless they’re purchased before then). On that day, sales of the guide, the Family Legacy Video® Producer’s e-Guide, and the Family Legacy Video® Producer’s Music CD will cease. We’re not totally abandoning our do-it-yourself line – webinar recordings will still be offered.
